Long drive south via the M74/M6 with a Lake District comfort stop, arriving in Snowdonia for the evening.
Llanberis, Snowdon viewpoints and Betws-y-Coed — mountains, lakes and forest drives.
Two of the greatest medieval castles in Britain, plus the Menai Strait and Anglesey option.
Waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons and an afternoon in Cardiff — castle, bay and city centre.
Extend for a day along the Pembrokeshire coast — Tenby, St Davids and coastal viewpoints — before the return north.
